Edit Office plays its part in tackling Climate Change

Edit Office is an environmentally aware and an environmentally sustainable company.

We, at Edit Office are delighted to announce the launch of our Plant–a–Tree (PAT) initiative. Quite simply, for every desk we sell, we will plant a tree.

We have developed an exciting partnership with Trees On The Land, where we will plant native trees for every desk sold. Edit Office will fund the planting of a tree for every desk you buy.

Last year we sold approximately, 10,000 desks and are on target to sell even more this year! This will mean that more than 10,000 native trees will be planted.

These Edit Office trees will be planted at selected sites in and around the UK, Edit Office staff members will be rolling up their sleeves to help plant the trees.

A word about our partner…

Trees on the Land are a registered charity who work with farmers, smallholders, community groups, councils, schools, colleges and many other landowners to coordinate sites to accommodate trees. Trees are planted as small woodlands, coppices, orchards, hedgerows, shelterbelts, agroforestry projects, reforestation projects, and larger woodlands.

Forests play an important role in helping fight climate change – it is estimated that since 1990, forests in the UK have (cumulatively) removed the equivalent of 497 million tonnes of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Tackling climate change is in everybody’s interest. We are an environmentally aware company which is proactive in its approach to safeguarding the environment and in playing its part in tackling climate change.
